Our Introduction to Beauty, Laser and Dermal Therapy is a FREE introductory course for school students in year 10, 11 or 12, leaving school at the end of 2026 and seriously considering studying at the AABT for the coming year 2027.

Learn step by step, make up skills for yourself including contouring camouflage make up, application of foundation, blush, eyeshadow and lipstick.

Learn how to professionally tint eyelashes and shape eyebrows.

Learn your skin type and how to perform a professional cleanse, exfoliation and mask to maintain perfect skin condition.

Take part in an introductory Laser and IPL workshop and advanced dermal techniques demonstrated by our Specialised Laser and Dermal Educator.

Explore and tour our facilities, learn about career options, government funding and ask questions. The night is open for you to bring parents and friends who would also like to learn more about a career in Beauty, Laser and Dermal.

Attendance at this evening is compulsory by yourself and parents.

This introductory program has replaced our work experience program, so students receive more guidance from our trainers, away from their normal teaching requirements.

Please ask your school if this introductory course satisfies school work experience requirements.

A deposit of $100 is required to ensure places are only held for genuine enrolments. This will be refunded after the completion of the 6 weeks. Attendance every evening is required for the course refund.

There is no refund for cancellations but it can be transferred to a future course. There are no refunds for a change of mind.

We also hold an information evening during the 6 weeks, and a parent is required to attend on the evening and agreeing to do this is a condition of acceptance into this course.

Dates of the information evening will be advised when the course starts.

Those leaving school in future years will be able to apply for this free course in the year they leave school.
